Felicia Aroney
Felicia Aroney is Western Australian born, now living and working as a contemporary artist in Sydney NSW. Felicia draws inspiration from her European heritage, channelling the distressed and peeled paint facades of classical architecture.Working with oils and acrylics, her distinctive floral and abstract works utilise a highly sculptural mark making process, using a palette knife to shape the paint until it stands in relief form the canvas.Felicia’s paintings evoke a sense of history and antiquity mixed with all things Australian. Felicia is represented by 8 Australian galleries and has been a Mosman Art Prize Finalist. Having exhibited in both group and solo shows in Hong Kong, Singapore,Seoul and Florence, Felicias works are held in Private collections in Asia, Australia and Europe.
