Based in Orange NSW, Sophie Corks is a contemporary artist who paints everyday observations of the Australian way of life with a unique perspective. Her colourful works are playful and whimsical and infused with nostalgia. Sophie loves to paint the domesticity of country cottages, postcard worthy rural villages and their historic buildings oozing character and charm. In her teenage years Sophie played schoolgirl cricket including a stint for NSW, so its no surprise that her love of the game would creep onto the canvas. From the humble backyard pitch to the hallowed SCG, her pieces are snapped up fast by Australian cricket lovers across the country.
