BRIGITA HAMMELL

Brigita Hammell is a Czech Australian artist living on the South Coast NSW. Brigita’s early art education was obtained at The School of Art and Design in Prague, she later completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts at the University of Wollongong, Australia. From her home studio she creates beautiful ceramic pieces and whimsical paintings. Her paintings are spontaneous and emotional responses to the world and life around her. She works in oils, building layer upon layer, creating luminous, emotionally touching works which evoke a sense of familiarity, calm and understanding.
