Melanie Vugich
Melanie Vugich ran free as a child in the outback town of Broken Hill. Her deep love of Nature was born here and she knew from a young age that she wanted to be an artist. This dream led her to Italy where she fell completely in love with Florence and it became her home for 25 years. In Florence, Melanie worked as a fabric designer connecting her with the city’s dynamic arts community. Melanie travelled throughout Europe and held countless solo and group shows. When she returned to Australia, Melanie chose Bronte as her base and promised herself she would swim and paint every day. Her works capture the wild beauty of Nature and she shares her passion for colour, composition and the everyday objects that surround us.
