Polly Kimmorley
Coming from a rural background in far Western N.S.W sparked the beginning of Polly’s artistic journey. Living there most of her life, she was left with great memories of the large skies and wide open spaces. These colours, which capture the landscape, need to be seen to be believed, from both land and air perspective. She get a lot of inspiration from this for her aerial paintings and a drone now also plays a part when travelling.
The beauty of the Australian landscape has proven to be a strong influence with texture, shapes and colours, to develop into her own artist style. Polly is consistently looking and sourcing that landscape, capturing it in layers of acrylic on canvas.
Her environment overflows with colour and her paintings come from within. The journey forever continues.
